The Estate Swing extra belt for its E-SL 450 Belt Drive Gate Opener belt is built to last. It comes with a 10 year prorated warranty standard. Estate Swing can offer this long warranty on the belt due to it being steel belted internally. Much like steel belted radial tires, which have been the standard in tire construction since the early 70's, this belt has a mesh layer of woven steel in between the two rubberized outer layers. The durability of the steel belted design is achieved through the way the steel mesh works to increase the rigidity of the belt. This helps to spread the load and friction over a greater surface, reducing the stress across the belt providing more durability. Also the outer layers have UV protection infused in the material to prevent cracking and degrading even in areas with the strongest sun zones.
