    This bracket replaces the current rear pivot bracket that comes with some GTO and Mighty Mule gate opener kits. This bracket extends the rear pivot point of the gate opener out into the driveway so that the operator arm is in the correct position to pivot and clear the gate with still having the opener arm on the inside of the property.

    A must-have item for outward opening gates

    If you have a Mighty Mule brand gate opener and you want to set it up so that it pushes the gate open instead of pulling the gate open (if your driveway slopes uphill, for example) then this is the piece you need! My local farm supply store where I bought the opener had no idea that these were available, but I found them here on Amazon and they were at my doorstep in two days. These allow you to keep the opener apparatus inside of your gate where it will not be stolen and still have the gate swing outward from your property. It is simply a matter of moving a little jumper bar inside your control box and installing these arms. Republished from Amazon.com

    Does the job

    Ordered the mighty mule gate opener and then had to order this later. We had to have the gate to push to open. We didn't know that this was needed, and it does not come with the gate opener. The opener comes with one, but it's too small for the "push to open" feature. Amazon delivery was fast and we didn't have to wait too long to get it installed, I'm happy with purchase.
