    Used to mount an Automatic Gate Lock or Pedestrian Lock in areas that have space restrictions between the gate and post. Examples are brick columns or walls. In a typical installation of a gate lock you would have to have the back face of the gate line up with the back face of the post or column. With the GateCrafters Column Mount Lock Adapter it can line up with the middle of the inside face of a post or column. You must have at least a 3 1/4" gap between the end of the gate and the inside face of the post or column.
