A Forestry Gate offers a swing-style barrier that promotes access to specially designated areas and is commonly used in state parks, cattle ranches, nature preserves, and other land use environments. It can also serve as a traffic calming device for parking areas. Each gate is custom-made to your length specifications, with a standard end height of 3 feet 6 inches.
Crafted in the USA from 6063 architectural-grade aluminum alloy, this gate provides exceptional durability, corrosion resistance, and longevity even in challenging weather conditions. The material can be left raw or powder coated for a clean, colored finish.

Our Forestry Gates are universally compatible with almost any gate opener, allowing you to automate access for greater convenience and control. Our specialists recommend the E-S 1000H (solar or direct power) for forestry gates up to 16 feet in length, and the E-S 1000D for shorter dual gates.
Forestry gates come in bare aluminum. We include a can of self-etching primer specially designed for 6061 high-end, aircraft-grade aluminum. After applying the primer, you can paint the gate any color to suit your application. If you prefer powder coating, you can choose from any custom color prior to shipping, at an additional cost. Additionally, each forestry gate comes standard with welded barrels and J-bolts. You can purchase hinge plates to attach to an existing post or choose a matching post with hinge plates for a new installation. Hinge plates and posts are available separately from Gate Crafters.
