FAAC 402 Hydraulic Swing Gate Operator
FAAC standard (CBCR) 402 hydraulic swing gate operator is specifically designed for situations needing maximum versatility, such as certain apartment, subdivision, commercial/industrial, residential applications and in situations that have very limited or tight places. It can accommodate gates up to 900lbs and 12’ feet length, an excellent choice for large ornament gates.
Hydraulic gate operators are inherently safer than other types of operators because they do not have "pinch points". This unit can be used to swing the gate leaf inward or outward. In addition, FAAC operators are equipped with a hydraulic bypass valve for extra anti-entrapment protection, and a manual release that allows the gate to be operated in an emergency, such as power failure. A battery back-up unit is also available.
The electronic control panel is a microprocessor-based controller that accepts a wide range of products accessories and reversing devices thus allowing flexible gate system design.
FAAC 402 standard can hydraulically lock your gate in your choice of opened and/or closed positions. Your gate system will also be set up to provide special options, including "gate-safe" and "gate-secure" configurations:
- Gate-safe: during power outages, a magnetic lock releases a closed gate to allow emergency access.
- Gate-secure: during power outages, an electric lock keeps the gate locked.
NOTE: For its protection, the single-phase bidirectional motor shuts off automatically if its operating temperature reaches 212 deg F (100 deg C). Also for the protection and proper operation each gate leaf on which it is installed must have a fixed positive stop in both the opened and close positions. To guarantee the safety and efficiency of its equipment, FAAC strongly recommends that qualified personnel test the safety system on an annual basis, as well as maintain the overall hydraulic or mechanical system.
